I am pleased to report that thanks to all of our sponsors, donors and participants the 2011 Fitz Brewer Duffin’ fore the Ducks raised a record profit in excess of over $47,000.  All of this money goes directly to support University of Oregon student athletes.  It was a total team effort and thank you!

Plans are well underway for the Oregon Club of Southern Oregon’s fall meetings.  Mark your calendar for our first club meetings in Medford, Klamath Falls and Grants Pass the week of August 29^th just prior to the LSU game on Sept. 3 in Dallas.  More specific dates and time located on the Events Page.

BUS TRIPS:

Again this year we are organizing charter bus trips to the following games:

• Thursday, October 6^th game against California (kickoff at 6 pm)
• Saturday, November 12^th game against Stanford (3 day, all inclusive trip)
• Saturday, November 19^th game against USC (kickoff at 5 pm)

The price per game remains at $45 per person for OCSO members and $50 for non-members.  The OC&W bus leaves Medford six hours and Grants Pass five and a half hours before the scheduled kick-off time.  We will add other games as the schedule continues to be released.  This roulette online casino is a convenient and safe way to travel so leave the driving to us!

MEMBERSHIP:

If you haven’t done so please take a moment and become a 2011 member of the Oregon Club of Southern Oregon by visiting the Join Page. The cost is only $45 for an individual and an $85 for a family membership. This is a great way to show your support for the Ducks. We finished 2010 with 210 paid members and our goal is 230 for 2011.  Any event that the Oregon Club puts on down here, OCSO members always receive a discount for special events such as our bus trips.  See the attached OCSO Membership form for details.

WEBSITE INFORMATION:

This past spring we launched the OCSO web site www.southernoregonducks.com.  Our goal is to make the site our primary source of information relating to our Club and all things Duck here in southern Oregon and the Klamath Basin. Look for detailed and timely information regarding meetings, speakers, special events, sign-ups and pricing.  We created the website for all to be able to keep abreast of our activities. Two for the price of one!  A new one of a kind BCS National Championship Game carbon fiber helmet signed by both LaMichael James and Darron Thomas.  This collector’s quality piece of Duck history will be offered at the Duffin’ fore the Ducks Oral Auction on June 2^nd

Acura has selected Duffin’ Fore the Ducks as the Oregon tournament that will provide a foursome for their inaugural NCAA School challenge. The winning foursome will represent Oregon and play Pinehurst 2 and Pinehurst 4. Package includes accommodations for 3 days and 2 nights, breakfast daily, welcome party, Acura alumni champions dinner, skills competition, team photograph, airport transfers to and from the Raleigh/Durham Airport, team uniforms and team prizes.

7 night stay overlooking the Pacific Ocean including 5000 sq/ft, 4 bedrooms, 5 baths, multiple kitchens, bars with decks and a BBQ hutch. Finally is a private observation tower with a hot tub and pool. Accommodates up to 4 couples/8 people easily. Also included are 2 round trip airline tickets.
